Rosalina is a vivacious Maya woman studying social work at university, while simultaneously working to complete her final year of a degree in Tourism Management.

Maya speaks Spanish, K’iche’ and English, and at the age of just 19,  has participated in cultural exchange experiences at Michigan and Georgetown Universities, as well as in Brazil and México. 

Rosalina has strong leadership skills, a strong voice, and wants to help empower other youth to have more significant participation in their communities, and to work together to build a better world.
