You’ve also made it possible to bring the 67 teens currently enrolled in the program to this point in their education and development.
Please help us in our commitment to enable them to complete their high school educations – an accomplishment that will allow these remarkable young people to improve their professional opportunities, increase their family incomes, further develop their communities, and reach their full potential.
MAIA (formerly Starfish), a trusted organization also working in youth education and leadership in the Sololá region of Guatemala, has committed to administering the 67 remaining Reading Village scholarships over the next four years. We’re grateful to them for their continued collaboration and partnership which will help to make Reading Village’s closing a more seamless transition for the teens.
There is still much work to complete in Guatemala.
Indigenous youth in these communities still need your help. On this #GivingTuesday, please consider making one final gift to Reading Village.
Your past generosity has been key to our success in Guatemala. We hope you’ll continue to support the education of indigenous youth on #GivingTuesday.
