Hispanic Storybooks for Children

Looking to add a little Latin American culture, themes and characters into your child’s reading? We developed this Reference Guide for Parents to help you do just that.

Inside you’ll find suggested titles and authors of storybooks in simple Spanish, bilingual titles in both English and Spanish, and English books about Hispanic characters and themes.

It also includes references to award winning titles, a Mayan language game online, how to make your own books and much more. Click on the photo to download your own copy.

100 Book Day

Here’s and opportunity to promote your own child’s literacy, enjoy one-on-one time with them and do good for others. On 100 Book Day, parents and children enjoy 100 storybooks together. Leading up to the day they collect pledges from friends and family that will support Reading Village’s work to bring the joy and power of literacy to children in Guatemala.
