• Get Off the Beaten Path

On a Learning Journey doors will be opened, meals shared, and friendships forged to offer you an authentic Guatemalan experience. No other trip will take you this deep into the heart of indigenous Mayan culture. For 8 days you will travel with our scholars and staff. They will take you into the homes and schools where they live and work so that you too can see just how wide this world really is. We promise this is a trip you won't want to miss!
  • Learn How Literacy Works

Travel with us to Guatemala and see for yourself how literacy is transforming lives. You will also get to visit the colonial town of Antigua, explore the ancient Mayan ruins of Iximché, and tour a coffee cooperative on Lake Atitlán. Our next trip is November 2-9, it will be the end of the coffee harvest and the school year and we can promise a memorable trip!
  • Are You In?

Young or old. Novice or experienced traveler. Our trips bring together a diverse group of philanthropists who share a common desire to see the world and change a life. You will make friends from around the world while sitting in local homes and meeting local families. Bridging age gaps, gender gaps, and culture gaps you'll walk away feeling like the world is a little bit smaller than you once believed.
  • Change & Be Changed

Time and time again we’re told how our Learning Journey’s change people. Combining cultural immersion, with volunteer service, and experiential learning, our Learning Journeys are a great way to experience a developing country and get off the beaten path. See Guatemala in an intimate way - share meals, stories, and bus rides with community members, program participants, and fellow philanthropists.
